The Spanish design travels in May to the United States to showcase its collections at two of the most important design events

Icex, under the umbrella of interiorsfromspain, organises Spanish brands being present at two of the most important trade fairs in the American market.

From 2 to 4 May, HOSPITALITY DESIGN will take place at the exhibition grounds of the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas. Each year, this trade fair attracts interior designers, architects, decorators, builders and purchasers of hotel chains from all over the world, in search of resources and innovations to add to their hospitality projects.

In 2017, the number of exhibitors was 850, taking up a total of 25,550 m2. The profile of visitors, most of them are product opinion leaders and personnel with the ability to make purchasing decisions.

The H&D Trade Fair also has an extensive program of design sessions for exhibitions with conferences during all the days of the trade fair, as well as public relations and networking events.

This is the 15th edition in a row where Spanish companies participate. The participants are Cosentino, Grassoler, Indea64, Point and Roca.

And in New York, the INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY FURNITURE FAIR will take place from 20 to 23 May at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center exhibition grounds.

It is one of the most prestigious trade fairs in the United States within the interior design sector and the most important in the New York area. It is held during New York Design Week, therefore coinciding with design events organised by public and private entities all over the city such as the New York x Design Awards, Sight Unseen and Wanted. Its aim is to show innovations in contemporary and high-end designs in the interior design sector.

In 2017, it held its 29th edition. It attracted about 850 international exhibitors and more than 30,000 professionals from the sector, mainly architecture and interior design companies. It is one of the most important showcases for design companies that want to enter or gain a foothold in the North American market.

The Spanish participants in this edition are: Apavisa Porcelánico, Iniciativa Exterior, Ledsc4, Roca, dvelas, Bover Iluminación, Marset, iSimar, Teixidors, Santa&Cole, RS Barcelona, Kettal and Abbatte.
