Some 15 suppliers of stylish and sophisticated home décor and home fashions have confirmed their intention to participate in the debut of a new “C3 Collection” at the Winter 2013 Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market, January 28-February 1, at World Market Center Las Vegas.

This new concentration of better home products, which will be achieved not only by shifting relevant resources from across the World Market Center campus onto the third floor of Building C, but also by infusing new home furnishings and home fashions suppliers into Las Vegas Market, is part of an overall redefinition of Las Vegas as the industry's premier Western US marketplace.

The C3 collection will be diverse in product offerings, but cohesive in character,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift and Home Décor at International Market Centers, parent company of World Market Center Las Vegas. “Together, these companies will create a compelling presentation of better home décor and home textile resources.

In total, the C3 Collection is expected to showcase some 25 suppliers. Three existing C3 tenants: Classic Home (rustic home furnishings and solid wood furniture), Feizy (hand knotted, hand tufted and power loomed rugs) and Karastan (residential carpets and rugs from natural fibers) will serve as anchors. In addition, six current World Market Center tenants will relocate onto C3: Art Classics (decorative wall art); Bramble Co. (solid plantation mahogany furniture handmade in Indonesia); Etoffe Makara (high end, top-of-bed textiles featuring historically inspired designs and classic imagery); Jeffan (indoor and outdoor home furnishings, lighting and home accents made in Indonesia); Jesco Lighting (contemporary, architectural, energy-efficient lighting fixtures); and Peninsula Home (home furnishings, hand carvings and painted wall art).

Six companies will make their debut at the Las Vegas market as part of the C3 Collection: Bliss Studio (fine collections of historically inspired items including furniture, lighting, and accessories); Design Legacy by Kelly O’Neal (unusual home furnishings, limited edition artwork, decorative accessories and accents); Light & Living (contemporary and affordable lighting and home accessories); Santangelo Lighting & Design (original designs and Old World reproductions showcasing hand-forged techniques); Selamat (furniture and accessories made from sustainable mahogany, teak, and other materials); and World's Away (home accessories with hand-applied finishes).

The physical space on C3 will create a visually dramatic shopping experience featuring 25-foot ceilings and open-plan showrooms that minimize the presence of traditional glass window walls to allow for easier traffic flow and better visual access to products. It also offers shopping efficiencies for home and lifestyle buyers with the two floors above it - C4 and C5 - showcasing temporary exhibits in home product sectors such as decorative accessories, textiles, gourmet, global and vintage; and a bridge-link directly to the World Market Center's “B3” Collection, which debuted in summer 2012, with an exciting concentration of high-end, fashion forward goods from industry leaders including Arteriors, Best Slip Cover, Chandra, Daniel Stuart, Go Home, Noir, Paragon, Surya and Wendover.
