For well-designed, high-end kitchens, invisible comfort is the decisive benchmark for everyday compatibility and user-friendliness. At this year's interzum, Hailo Fitted Technology is presenting its range of products for central functional areas in kitchens in Hall 7.1, Stand A040.

Only once the kitchen is economically designed, human movement processes within the kitchen have been perfected and the kitchen provides integrated basic order does it become a comfort zone for its users.

In these central functional areas, integrated organisational systems and further accessories are the prerequisite for smooth, comfortable and safe working, and include storage and stockpiling food and cooking utensils, but also encompass cleaning accessories, the preparation area and the sink centre along with the coordinating waste separation systems.

At the interzum, the experienced fitted technology expert will once again be proving that its products not only make everyday life in the kitchen more comfortable and safer, they are also easy to install and operate and comply with even the highest standards of design.

Important highlights at the interzum will include the SafetyKit and the Safety-Tilt system, equipped with a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket as standard and which - in this form - is unique within the market. “At the interzum, we will be presenting various solutions for discretely and quickly installing the SafetyKit in kitchens”, comments Martin Mies, Head of Hailo Fitted Technology.

Furthermore, customers and interested parties will be comprehensively informed about the Hailo HFO (hands-free open) solution - an automatic opening system for pull-outs (image above). A contact is installed beneath the front panel to be opened - in a space-saving manner and with the utmost ease. Compared to conventional electrical ejection systems, the HFO takes up no space at all in the frequently full sink unit interior, but is simply installed in the front section of the cabinet floor and can be retrofitted anywhere in the kitchen. The door opens automatically by simply tapping it with your foot. The Hailo HFO was developed especially for operating a waste separation system, as it proves to be an invaluable solution when the user happens to have dirty hands or has both hands full. However, it can also be used to increase comfort in other drawers. In addition to the product highlights and a broad selection from the company's current portfolio, there will also be a range of small, exquisite innovations including a towel holder concealed behind kitchen front panels and which hence does not spoil the overall look of the space.
