According to the organizers themselves, this next Espacio Cocina SICI will be featuring the highest number of exhibitors of recent years as well as occupying almost every one of the 18,000 square metres booked for the fair at Feria Valencia.

Also, and in line with the main international fairs, Espacio Cocina - SICI is offering a number of different options for taking part in the event, ranging from traditional stand options to sponsorships, special marketing initiatives and participation in seminars. The aim is to provide an option for every company that wants to be involved, to take part in the industry's biggest fair yet.

Kitchen week in Valencia

Along with this outstanding proposition, Espacio Cocina SICI 2019 will be promoting the launch of the ‘Kitchen Week’ initiative. The venture is being driven not just by the fair but also by the industry itself in the form of Spanish trade association AMC. The aim is to do justice to and promote the importance of ‘made in Spain’ kitchen furniture and equipment to all levels of society and consumer. ‘Kitchen Week’ will feature a number of activities both at the fair and in the city of Valencia geared to both professionals and the end consumer. The latter will have the opportunity to visit the fair on one day, as is the case with other international fairs.

Espacio Cocina SICI has already released an advance of the content for the various seminars and events due to take place in the Ágora SICI, the huge themed area that will be sited at the heart of the commercial exhibition and is where many of the scheduled events will take place.

These events are being split over the five days of the fair, with Monday 28th January focusing on construction, refurbishment and the contract sector. Tuesday and Wednesday will see the focus shift to routes to market, with further highlights on Wednesday provided by the AMC Conference and colleges specialising in décor.

Thursday is being dedicated to specifiers, decorators and one of the major new features of this edition of the fair, the Foro Marmolista (Marble Workers Forum) which, in association with specialist website Focus Piedra, will examine the challenges facing the industry, courtesy of experts and professionals from the worktops and claddings sector. On Friday Espacio Cocina SICI will be turning its attention to the end consumer with an open day for the public, who will have the opportunity to visit the fair and see all the latest innovations on offer in the marketplace.
