Actiu has made a strong commitment to internationalize the equipping of contract and work spaces preparing new proposals which will be presented at Orgatec 2012, the benchmark trade fair in Europe regarding design and planning of offices, which will take place from 23 - 27 October, in Cologne (Germany), under the slogan “How do we work and live?”.

Actiu will travel to Orgatec 2012 with the new models of operative chairs TNK A500 and STAY, new developments of operative desks MOBILITY with electronic elevation and the collective chair UKA, amongst others. All the improvements and new products in these programs have been technically developed by Actiu Research and Development department R & D within minimum time meeting the highest demands in quality, eco-design and ergonomics.

The program of operative desks MOBILITY, designed by Javier Cuñado for Actiu, arose from the need to solve the new ways of understanding work. Active thinking requires an active corporate posture. MOBILITY enables multiple possibilities in height adjustment and accessories, for both single and double desks.

TNK A500 is a patented complex engineering project, awarded the Red Dot Product Design 2012. It was conceived in a sustainable way, both in the materials used and in its productive process, resulting in a cosy shape and a high quality perceived product

STAY, a new concept of the office chair, global but close to the user, whose main quality is the concept of additive construction. A chair designed and created with a chameleon like ability to adapt to any workplace or communal space.

UKA is a chair thought to be designed to be versatile. Light and easy to store, with flowing lines and cutting edge. It is mounted upon a metal structure which adapts to any use. Its breathable texture provides a perfect lumbar support.

The three chairs have been created by Alegreindustrial Studio for Actiu.

Actiu will welcome visitors to a stand designed in collaboration with the renowned interior design studio Cosin&Cosin situated in the pavilion 9.1, stand B-03, whose design transmits the values and the philosophy of the company. Its simplicity and quality materials used converts this space into the next meeting place, capable of fostering collaboration and teamwork.
