Thanks to the huge attendance at the 2012 edition (41,669 visitors, +15.26% on previous year show), this year the I Saloni WorldWide Moscow, a benchmark for Russia and the countries in its geopolitical basin, will occupy more than 19,000 square metres of exhibition space and will host 557 exhibitors – 494 of them from Italy and 63 from Belgium, France, Germany, Holland and Spain.

Spain will be the second largest contingent after Italy with a total of 41 companies of the furniture, lighting, textile and decorative accessories sectors exhibiting in halls 8, 10 and 11.

Spain’s classical furniture companies will be prominent in both the home and contract sectors and companies presenting new designs for the Russian market include the leading names of Colección Alexandra, Latorre, Epoca Home Interiors, Tecni Nova, Amboan, Soher among many others. On the Avant-garde design side, Spain’s will be represented by top-notch brands such as Vondom, Point, Skyline Design, LLadró or Nomon.

In the period January-July 2013, Russia proved to be the fifth export destination for Spain’s home furnishing products after France, Portugal, Germany and the United Kingdom and it will continue to be an increasing market for those Spanish companies that have already a strong presence in the area.

With furniture export amounting to 29.8 million euros, Spain’s sales to Russia have registered an increase by 32.6% marking Russia out as one of the most dynamic importer of Spanish furnishing products.
