Mobalco has presented CRADLE TO CRADLE in Eurocucina Fair 2012, an ambitious project to get a 100% recyclable components in a kitchen.

A responsible design must take into consideration the environmental impact of every single element that takes part in the manufacturing process as well as the recycling capacity and reusing potential of each component.

The Project analyzes the entire production process from design, material selection, production methods, energy consumption, packaging, transport and the potential for recycling at the end of its life cycle through a Memorandum of Dismantling and Recycling of each component.

The new AERO GLASS collection is made using these criteria, with front doors made in tempered vitrified glass and retractable doors made in certified FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) boards for all the Chain of Custody and comes entirely from woods with FSC Certification.

Mobalco uses noble materials for internal modulation elements, singlecomponents, such as stainless steel, aluminum or glass, in combination with other materials with low environmental impact such as Certified FCS boards with less than 0,04 ppm formaldehyde emissions (60% lower than NormE1), or biodegradable chemical compounds made from plant fibers.

The AERO collection is available in different finishes with a surface treatment made just with mechanical methods, avoiding all kind of synthetic chemical products.
