The constant change characterizing contemporary design trends has spurred the lamp manufacturer B.lux Group to place new twists on many of its most commercially successful designs. The goal of this revamping is none other than adapting its lamps to new contemporary design trends, both for homes and contract work.

The overhaul of this selection of successful designs has been dubbed Rediscover, and is made up of lamps devised by different designers and launched onto the market over the last 15 years. “They are very appropriate lamps from the formal point of view, for installation in contemporary settings, but their finishes and light sources were in need of some updating,” stated Harriet Ibarretxe, General Sales Manager at the B.lux Group.

The suspension lamps Centra (2002) and Nite (1999), designed by David Abad and Jorge Pensi, respectively, are clear examples of the renewed airs presented by the Rediscover collection, with sustainable light sources rounded out by new and attractive shade finishes. Ilde (David Abad, 1999) is another of the redone lamps, with a new body made of natural oak, and vintage-style carbon filament bulbs. Boletus, Ronda, Eliana, Round and Helios are other B.lux Group decorative lamps featuring revamped looks. They can be found in the brand's 2014 catalogue of new products, available on its webpage: www.grupoblux.com.
