For its pure graphic lines and its minimum volume, Vibia´s pendant light SKAN, designed by Lievore, Altherr, Molina, has obtained the international Design Plus Award at the Light+Building Exhibition 2012, the world's leading trade fair for Architecture and Technology.

The competition, organized by Messe Frankfurt in collaboration with the German Design Council, showcases the innovative content and future orientation of product ideas in the fields of lighting, electrical and electronic engineering and home and building automation.

The lamp simplified to its minimum expression

Giving a new interpretation to volume & light, SKAN brings the elaborated simplicity of a classic with a touch of contemporary design and light functionality: the lamp simplified to its minimum expression.

From a colorful red look, to black & white basics, SKAN blends perfectly into a modern interior design decoration, both for residential and commercial use.

LED technology enables high-lumen output and energy efficiency, to create a warm and comfortable lighting effect.

Available in two sizes (30 - 60 cm/diameter), as built-in and surface fitting, in matt white, red & graphite lacquer, SKAN also includes an electronic dimmer on its 60cm version, to regulate the light source (1 x LED 10W 350mA & 1 x LED 12,3W 700mA).
