Seletti, the innovative Italian design brand, is again choosing Maison & Objet to present its newest pieces in Paris. The stand in Paris is the ideal showcase for visitors to get a wide overview of the new products in the Seletti wears Toiletpaper collection, those created in collaboration with fashion brand Diesel, and several new additions in lighting.

SELETTI WEARS TOILETPAPER

Seletti wears Toiletpaper is a selection of objects characterized by an inexhaustible desire to experiment, black humor dipped in pastel, realized with democratic and familiar materials and combined with unexpected images and pop spirit. The collection consists of various types of products, ranging from tableware to fashion. The latest additions to the collection are the area rugs, in rectangular and round versions, finally available to the general public after their previewing in Miami, in the Untitled art fair lounge, and in Paris at the pop-up shop at Gallerie Perrotin.

Each rug presents an image chosen by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, printed onto the fabric using inkjet machinery designed specifically for large formats. A special heat treatment ensures the resistance of the print and the vividness of the colors. The Seletti wears Toiletpaper rugs, veritable works of art, are available in 14 versions; Two of Spades, Eye & Mouth, Fingers, Lipsticks rectangular, Phone, and Legs are complimented by the new designs Snooker, Cat, Lipsticks round, Teeth, Food with Holes, Game Over, Lady on a Carpet, and Snakes.

The line produced in collaboration with Diesel continues to have great success among the most innovative and experimental fashion brands. In Paris, the two brands are presenting a new collection inspired by the world of “works in progress and do it yourself,” an unexpected and ironic addition to home accessories.

Elmet is a multi-functional dolomite container in the shape of a safety helmet, and Tool Box a dolomite box with a cover fin the shape of an actual tool box. The functionality of the vase is paired with an unusual form in Cone Vase, reproducing in detail the cones that delimit works in progress.

The Mouse Lamp series is a new collaboration with Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba in lighting. It consists of 3 mice in different positions, faithfully reproduced in resin. Seletti continues its exploration of naturalistic styles, a motif of never-ending inspiration for Malerba, who has already designed Monkey Lamp - now a bestseller - and the Sending Animals furniture collection for the brand.

A new collaboration for an outside-the-box project. Dr. Seletti is a mirror in the shape of a cross, backlit by a soft LED. Dr. Seletti is the fruit of a collaboration with Atelier Biagetti - one of the most interesting Italian design groups in recent years - for their NO SEX exhibition during Salone del Mobile 2016. Dr. Seletti symbolizes a new outbranching for the group, who expands its selection with its focus ever on innovative and avant-garde projects.
