Kuu is a pendant lamp with rounded poetic look. Designed by Kerstin Sylwan & Jenny Stefansdotter, from Swedish studio Design Stories, for the company One Nordic Furnitre Company, Kuu stands out for its screen, manufactured from a light-shielding technical polyester fabric that gives it an organic yet structured appearance.

Kuu lamps were created within the “More beauty from less resources” school of thought. The smart packaging mantra was a perfect fit for DesignStories’ aims.

The lamp comes rolled up in a tube, with the stiffened material enclosing the frame of the shade. So when it arrives, it's without structure - the buyer can then follow the process behind the design when putting it together and see what our line of thought was.’ Kerstin Sylwan & Jenny Stefansdotter.

Kuu is ceiling mounted, comes in two sizes, 30 cm and 45 cm, and in two different colour.

Prices range between €160.00 small and €220.00 big.
