Contemporary design is in the midst of an extreme makeover. Styling previously known for hard lines, jarring colors and the notion that “comfort is secondary” is experiencing a transformation driven by consumers passionate about creating spaces that speak to their casual yet sophisticated lifestyles. Setting the benchmark for a new design direction described as “Luxe Transitional,Lexington Home Brands announces the introduction of Tower Place, a collection that captures the essence of today's updated contemporary style.

Today's prevailing view of refined contemporary design is best described as Luxe Transitional,” said Phil Haney, President and CEO of Lexington Home Brands. “The impact and appeal of the styling continues to be defined by clean architectural lines, but the modern iteration has a softer edge - reflective of today's casual approach to luxury living. The evolution involves finish, texture and color. Finishes are warmer and richer, with a strong emphasis on the natural character of the wood. The layered use of textural fabrics draws the eye and offers extraordinary comfort, in sharp contrast to the hard edge of vintage contemporary design. Finally, today's color palette features pleasing neutrals and spa colors as opposed to the stark and rigid tones of the past. Tower Place represents a fresh upscale look that will connect with sophisticated consumers looking for a décor that blends high style with exceptional comfort.

Crafted from elegant Cathedral Walnut veneers, designs in the collection showcase the soft luster of the rich, dark Arlington finish, with custom hardware and metal accents finished in brushed rose gold. Standout items include the dramatic step-front Highland Park buffet, shown below, paired with a unique decorative mirror featuring faux python embossed leather bordering the frame.

The Tower Place collection made its debut at the Las Vegas Market, July 29 - August 2, 2013 in the newly expanded Lexington Home Brands showroom located on the 5th floor of Building B at the World Market Center, Suite B-500.
