Design Shanghai announces its postponement to May 26, 2020 due to the coronavirus

Due to the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus in China, Design Shanghai has made the decision to postpone the March event. Design Shanghai 2020 will now take place on May 26th - 29th 2020 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.

The organisers of Design Shanghai have made this decision in consultation with government and local authorities in China, the fair partners, venue and local team. The safety and welfare of Design Shanghai's customers, exhibitors and staff is of the utmost importance and the first priority.

“After careful consideration and advice, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Design Shanghai to ensure the welfare and safety of visitors to our show, our exhibitors and our team. We are grateful to have confirmed new dates in the same venue with the same layout so as not to compromise the quality and success of the fair. We appreciate the show of support that we have received from the design community and our partners during this time” - Zhuo Tan, Director of Design Shanghai.
