ACE WOOD is the warmer version in wood belonging to the ACE family of chairs, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for Viccarbe. Characterised by its distinctive geometric facets which embrace the sitting human form ACE WOOD is a high backed chair available in two versions, either with or without armrests.

Jean-Marie Massaud is a French industrial and interior designer who works with high-end clients including Armani, Cappellini, Moroso, Yves Saint-Laurent and Viccarbe. His work is featured in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious design museums. Contemporary in character and distinctively recognisable Massaud's furniture has a marked architectural quality.

ACE WOOD combines an elegant and robust structural frame with a refined upholstered seat characteristic of the Ace family which makes this chair suitable for both the home and public spaces including waiting and reception areas.

The structure for ACE WOOD consists of a solid oak frame base with different finishes in wood: natural matt oak, wenge, ash and cognac. The chair's soft upholstery is characterised by a smooth crumpled texture lending it greater comfort. Matching and complimentary fabrics can be combined for the seat and the back, as with the various colour options for the base and the slide fastener for the removable cover. Available in the entire range of natural and synthetic fabrics which are offered by Viccarbe.

By combining different fabrics and wood finish together with choice of edge profile colour ACE WOOD becomes a versatile and exclusive addition to any space.
