Trame by Tubes receives new recognition and wins the Red Dot Product Design Award 2014

Trame, designed by Stefano Giovannoni for Tubes Radiatori, wins one of the most prestigious international acknowledgements in the design field, Red Dot Award. This sophisticated radiator was previously recognized as a Best of the Year Award.

Trame has been selected by a jury of 40 international experts that, in this record edition, tested and valued 4.815 products from 53 countries all over the world. The awards ceremony for the Product Design 2014 will be held on Monday the 7th of July in Essen at the Aalto-Theater and the Red Dot Design Museum.

With Trame Stefano Giovannoni has turned a traditional steel radiant surface into a “fabric of heat”, where the classic tubular elements become coloured threads with different diameters (14 mm, 20 mm and 28 mm) according to the personal taste and the desired optic effect.

Trame is available both with vertical and horizontal tubular elements up to 279 possible combinations, giving the greatest design freedom and ease when positioning it in different rooms.
