The Stip table (‘stip’ means dot in dutch) is a friendly and modest dining table, designed by Reinier de Jong to match with the ‘Steel‘ folding chair made from tool handles.

Like the chair, the table has ash wood legs but made from thicker handrails instead. They are placed under an angle and pierce right through the plywood table top making the end grain of the wood visible on the surface. Thinner bars connect the legs and make sure the top is secured.

The plywood top is finished with white hpl, a very hard and durable surface material. With dimensions of 180 x 90 x 75 cm, Stip table is compact and ideal for three and four person households. Two additional chairs can be placed at either end of the table when guests join for dinner.

Dimensions: 180 x 90 x 75 cm (l x b x h)
Materials: birch ply, ash wood, hpl
Colors: white & ash wood
Price: 1450 euro
