The GERMAN DESIGN AWARD is an international award that recognises the excellence of designers and companies that have been able to express in their products originality, creativity and a synthesis between quality, functionality and ergonomics.

The prize is awarded by a jury of 29 design experts from different fields and is the result of a selection among 2.250 project submissions in different categories; the award will be presented during the official ceremony that will be held in February 2015.

This prestigious award is evidence of the value of the Company Paola Lenti, that during these years has been able to combine tradition and modernity, lightness and precision, beauty and functionality.

Artistic design and craftsmanship come together in a continuous dialogue among different experiences: this is the only way we have conceived and still can conceive our daily work.

Bistrò - Paola Lenti Landscapes Collection

Closable parasol available in two versions, flat or dome-shaped. Structure made of varnished aluminium; supporting rods made of varnished glass fibre in the colour of the structure.

Bistrò can stand free, nonetheless, the anchoring to the ground is recommended, if possible; in both case the use of a moulded and varnished cast iron ballast is necessary.

The sun shade is available in Madras or Tamil fabric (Paola Lenti's signature fabrics) and can be bent thanks to an aluminium hinge.

The parasol can be accessorised with the side tables and the poufs of the Clique series, designed by Francesco Rota.
