Nico Less chair is a response to the human need to reduce our carbon imprint on the planet and to rediscover waste as an industrial material of the future. Re-thinking our philosophy of socially responsible, sustainable design, Primoz Jeza Studio has created a simple but unique chair made of recycled Felt (60% re-cycled PP bottles and 40% non-woven textile). By using just heat and pressure we achieved comfortable seating by adapting the shape to the human body.

Chair base is made out of metal or wood and is linked to the seat with straps. The Nico Less chairs can be combined in compositions of various lengths or stored in vertical stacks. A tribute to the great industrial designer Niko Kralj, Nicoless chair is a revival of simplicity!

With 41 experts from all around the world, who are chosen according to strict rules, the Red Dot Award: Product Design guarantees a very high judging competence: Only freelance designers, design professors and specialised journalists - but not designers employed at companies potentially participating - are appointed to the jury.

More than 1,200 guests from the world of design, industry, society and media will celebrate the winners of the “Red Dot Award: product design” at the Red Dot gala on 4 July 2016, which traditionally takes place in Essen's opera house, the impressive Aalto Theater. NICO LESS will then be put on display in the Red Dot Design Museum.
