The Spanish design from Valencia triumphs at the prestigious German awards given by the German Design Council

The NANSA chair, designed by Santiago Sevillano Studio for the valencian company Musola has won the category “Gardening and Outdoor Living” of the awards granted by the German Design Council, the German Design Award.

The jury states that Nansa is: “A stimulating and novel chair with apparent Mediterranean panache that is very interesting for its conceptual design, in particular the bent tubes used to form the powder coated frame fascinate while the machine washable cushion provides functional practicality.”

Nansa is inspired by the typical fishing traps of the Albufera, a natural park near Valencia.

The purpose of this project is to give the collection a markedly mediterranean character that transports one into the beautiful sunsets on the Albufera piers, where you can feel the outdoor in a different way.

This collection of outdoor furniture includes chair, coffee table, sofas and cushions.

Light but strong
The frame gives you the feeling of comfort and reliability of a high-quality chair.

Warm and cozy
Despite the pronounced structure, the softness of the cushions will make you feel that you want to stay seated all day.

A clear signature style
Every piece has the Nansa spirit engraved in their soul.

This collection will not leave you indifferent
Mediterraneanly conceived to impress.
