Actiu joins FAD to promote architecture and design

The FAD - Promotion of the Design of Art- is a Centennial prestigious association considered as a reference entity in the field of design and architecture in Spain, thanks to its constant task of promoting creative culture. It takes the form of six associations representing the various disciplines of design, architecture, industrial design, graphic communication, art, jewelry and fashion and since last May, Actiu is a new official Arquinfad partner.

Based on this premise, Actiu becomes part of collaborator in the different activities planned for this year; the “FADfest-Barcelone Design Festival” the architectural week “Arquinset2012”, the International Delta Awards; Exhibitions, Events, Forums and discussions linked to design and architecture, in which Actiu brings its knowledge of Eco design via more efficient productive processes and in which it demonstrates that sustainability is possible and compatible with the company. As an example of this, the facilities at Actiu Technological Park have been recognized as one of the first European Industrial projects to be certified with LEED GOLD by the U.S. American Green Building Council, which certifies that this construction is sustainable and self-sufficient in resources.

Delta Awards, are some other Worldwide known awards, organized in the FAD. ADI-FAD, the Association of Industrial Design of the FAD ADI organizes the awards, reference in the industry since its founding in 1961, and are usually held every two years.
