In addition to the new creations in its maximum artistic category, the Spanish brand will be exhibiting its collections of porcelain jewelry accessories from 27 March through 3 April at the exclusive World Watch and Jewellery Show in Basel.

In 2014 Lladró is taking part again at Baselworld, the world's most important watch and jewelry show, where it will be unveiling the new creations in its High Porcelain collection, the brand's maximum artistic category.

Under the High Porcelain concept, Lladró has grouped together its most complex pieces in terms of volume and decoration. These are creations elaborated in limited editions, in which artists from the High Porcelain workshop take the artistic potential of porcelain to its limits. The use of meticulous decorative techniques, such as the application by hand of precious metal luster, is a constant in Lladró throughout the years and reaches its greatest expression in these sculptures.

The centerpieces at the booth in Baselworld 2014 will be the new Great Dragon (golden) and Arabian pure breed (black), introduced into the market in short limited editions, with only 300 pieces of each creation in the whole world. Luxury and sophistication go hand in hand in pieces that go on display in Basel alongside other icons from the High Porcelain collection, such as the monumental The Queen of the Nile, a limited edition with few remaining pieces. A recreation of an Egyptian boat measuring 165 cm long, with 13 characters, 380 fragments and over 1000 hours of decoration, this is the largest piece ever to leave the High Porcelain workshop.

Visitors to Lladró's booth will also have a chance to contemplate the brand's collections of jewelry accessories, including its most recent project, inspired by the forms and colors of the Naturofantastic series.

Or the Lladró Re-Cyclos Magic Forest collection created by the German designer Bodo Sperlein for the brand. Elegant and original porcelain to wear, bringing Lladró out onto the street in the form of exclusive accessories handmade with the savoir faire of a company with 60 years to its credit in the handcrafted elaboration of artistic porcelain.

Like every single Lladró work, the creations on display at Baselworld 2014 have been handcrafted at The City of Porcelain, in Tavernes Blanques (Valencia-Spain). There, around 1000 people work in the elaboration of pieces which the multinational exports to over 120 countries on the five continents. Ever since it was founded in 1953, Lladró has continued to create all its pieces following an entirely handmade artisan process that has garnered worldwide fame.
