The University Hospital of Akershus equips its premises with AERO bench of Spanish company Sellex

2012-12-07

The prestigious University Hospital of Akershus (Lorenskog, Norway), has selected AERO bench of Spanish company Sellex, and designed by Lievore Altherr Molina, to equip its premises.

Akershus University Hospital has opened recently after nine years of works. The architecture, built on an area of 137.000m2 and the approximate cost of one billion euros, make the structure, located near Oslo (Norway), an example of excellence in sanitary engineering.

It has been projected by Studio C.F. Moller Architects, and during the construction period (from march 1, 2004 to october 1, 2008) more than 1400 people, coming from 37 countries, have worked and contributed to its creation.

The high luminosity is guaranteed by the large glass roof that dominates the entrance area, conforming the main artery of the ligh inside the building. The use of wood, steel and glass highlights the structures and the sober use of color gives elegance and a nice visual effect.

AERO bench has been selected to equip this impressive new hospital facility as its design and materials convey the same aspects as the building itself: quietness. Maybe because the tehcnology is present. Maybe despite the present technology.
