The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards announces the shortlist from the 2013 / 2014 entries. Four Spanish restaurants are selected from different international categories. This year they have received 840 submissions.
The shortlist includes 190 projects across 29 categories from the world’s leading architects, interior designers, lighting designers and hospitality operators.
The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards is a unique, independent annual awards program dedicated to exclusively celebrating the best food and beverage spaces from around the globe in all types of environments including hotels, transport, business, culture, leisure and retail.
Now in its sixth year, the 2014 awards received 840 submissions from the UK and 60 other countries.
The winners of the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards will be announced during a ceremony at London’s Old Truman Brewery on the 25th September 2014.
Among the international categories, found four Spanish restaurants/bar/spaces selected at the shortlist. The “Europe Restaurant” category includes “Pakta”, by El Equipo Creativo and “Taberna Wabi-Sabi“, by Sandra Tarruella Interioristas; the “Europe Bar” category, the “Nero”, by IDEA and finally, the “Pop-Up” category, the Sala VIP de la feria Arco Madrid 2013, de Q:NO Arquitectos.
