THE ESSENCE OF AMSTERDAM, NORDIC DESIGN AND A MEDITERRANEAN SOUL

Light and comfort create the spaces of all of Eric's apartments. He has designed different types of apartments so that guests can always find the one that best suits their needs: from a spectacular and bright penthouse with views over the River IJ, functional apartments of one room with double bed and bathroom, to spacious and comfortable apartments of two or more bedrooms and two bathrooms also overlooking the river, all of them with surfaces ranging from 40m2 to 75m2.

The minimalist lines of Nordic design prevail in all apartments. They stand out for their simplicity and practicality, although there is also room for singularity and spontaneity.

In general, there is predominant use of wood, chosen for its excellent features, glass, and white as the basic color, which, besides instilling a feeling of order and purity, generates warmth when combined with sandy shades. All of this makes the apartments spaces that are full of light and warmth. Nothing is excessive and nothing is missing.

One prominent feature is the creativity that is present in subtle touches. In the bedrooms, furnished with exceptionally comfortable beds, the headboards have been designed using hydraulic mosaic, in homage and reference to one of the materials commonly found in the sumptuous homes of Barcelona.

ERIC VÖKEL AND THE ART

Various emerging artists, photographers, and painters captured the best images of each city in order to then paint them by hand, creating large murals that decorate the living room in each apartment. We thus have compositions that are unique, decorative, and full of charm.
