Futur2 designs the new Pacha Barcelona inspired by the original essence of the brand

There are many design studios that would like to undertake such powerful projects such as Pacha, but few actually achieve it. That is the case of Futur2, a multidisciplinary design studio, who has undertaken the project of giving shape and color to the new Pachá Barcelona.

Located in the Port Olímpic of Ciudad Condal. With this latest work, the design studio, created in 1992, positions itself as a leader in the nightlife and hospitality design industry in the country.

The studio, which boasts more than 20 years of experience in the field of design, decided to go for the original essence and values of Pacha when creating this new space. “We wanted to go for the essence of the brand. We believe that what gives the venue its value is the energy it transmits” comments Pepe Lopez del Hoyo, the creative director of Futur-2. Pacha Barcelona comes back to the Catalan Capital, after more than 8 years of its absence, with the help of Grupo Costa Este.

During these 20 years of the company's existence, the studio has completed the design of renowned venue such as Cachitos, Astoria, Nuba Barcelona, OPIUM o Bling Bling creating an exclusive personality and a new ´cool´ style in the Barcelonian nightlife.

Furthermore, this year, the studio has also opened the spectacular restaurant Cachitos Diagonal and OPIUM Madrid, venues that have created a great interest from the public.

As recognitions, many of the studios designs have been chosen for the “Top 10 restaurants” and “Top 10 clubs” in magazines specialized in design such as the famous FRAME magazine, in addition to being selected in various editions of “London Design Awards

Internationalization

It's not only our country Spain that can boast venues designed by Futur-2, as the studio has also worked on projects in countries such as Colombia, Brasil or China and at present, it has been chosen by Hotel Catalonia to develop its projects in Dominican Republic and Mexico.
