In a space of 2,300 m2, Blanca Beltz studio led by Henry Suarez, made a project with spark, young, fresh, groundbreaking, with Mediterranean accent and light, and very aligned with the values of the hostel and the DNA of the city of Barcelona and the area where it is located, in the heart of Poble Nou.

The space Unite, designed for a curious, adventurous, open and respectful audience with the city, the environment and with cultural, artistic and musical concerns, is divided in 64 rooms and other 400 m2 of common area. From a cozy terrace to enjoy the Mediterranean evenings with friends and music, to the spacious rooms with lots of natural light or the cozy lobby at the foot of the street next to the restaurant Chicha Limoná and finally the 2nd floor, a meetings place. A space to share, relax, listen DJ sessions, read, work, perform yoga and interact.

To adapt to the new uses of hostel it was decided to leave bare the entrails of cement of the building and counteract it with light linings of wooden structures, colorful graphics and the own installations of light and air views, getting Different textures in walls and ceilings.

Always wanted to play with the contrast. Thus, the use of neutral colors for all areas is intensive, balanced with the colorful furniture and graphics applied and the plants themselves that give this aspect more youthful, friendly and modern.

In the rooms, is where you have wanted to keep these sober colors more eager to indicate that they are purely resting areas, sorvarying the color of the lobby of the room according to whether it is Standard (color tile), Premium/ Familiar (black) or rooms exclusively for Ladies (white).

Then there are the amusing phrases, with musical winks, cinematographic and even philosophical, that decorate the walls of the halls, with which more than one smile when launching to the conquest of the city or before going to bed. ‘Shut the funk up ‘; ‘Tourists go home, travelers welcome‘; ‘And they traveled happily everafter ‘ or ‘I travel Therefore I am‘, are some of them. A good pairing between the philosophy of the hostel and the know-how of Blanca Beltz, experts in storetellers.
