The name of this seat evokes a sensory journey that starts from afar: designed by Japanese designers Setsu & Shinobu Ito for Gufram, Aroma is the club chair that suggests a space of comfort and well-being where one can calmly savor a good coffee or a drink.

The enveloping and sinuous shapes of the backrest harmoniously degrade asymmetrically, ending in the practical low table at the end of the single armrest. It's an intimate and cozy space - which accompanies with its rounded lines a sublime experience of idleness - further enhanced by the multiple chromatic possibilities of its fabric covering.

It's an implicit invitation to the innumerable available customizations that make it an ideal element for the contract, yet capable of inserting itself with ease even in domestic spaces.

It's a versatile armchair capable of enriching the warmest and most refined settings as well as rigorously designed interiors with its personality.

Gufram has taken up a project conceived 10 years ago by Setsu & Shinobu Ito and transformed it into a real seat, available on the market, now implemented and calibrated in its materials and fabrics. This how Aroma was born - a discreet ode to pleasure, to the taste for round and enveloping flavors, capable of interpreting the distinctive traits of the brand with elegant mastery.

Now available as a single seat, thanks to its modular nature, it presents itself as the ideal interlocutor for the possible expansion of a family of upholstered products capable of combining privacy and conviviality.

DID YOU KNOW...

  1. Its name pays homage to the all-Italian culture of rest and pleasure, with its aromas and richness of style and taste.
  2. Aroma was born from the meeting of Japanese designers Setsu and Shinobu Ito with Gufram that - on the occasion of Milan Design Week 2019 - was able to transform it into an original contemporary club chair.
  3. The backrest degrades to a flat and cylindrical armrest, a sort of delicate table designed as an ideal base for enjoying coffee or a contemplative drink.
  4. Aroma was born as a single armchair to become a whole family of symmetrical, multiple or modular seats.
  5. The versatility of Aroma is almost infinite. The abacus of its versions can in fact be 100% customized according to the interior design specifications in the colors and fabrics preferred.
