Vondom pays tribute to the culture of the Orient in the latest creation from Ramón Esteve: a chair inspired by the forms of the kimono.

The idea was born of the proposal for a design which was futuristic as well as traditional, the reason for the reference to the Japanese garment, the fabrics of which are imbued with symbolism and history.

The Kimono chair is made of polycarbonate, a material that gives it a unique appearance of faceted lines and its play of transparencies, resulting in a design which is geometric and functional.

These characteristics generate a series of refl ections and highlights reminiscent of the brightness and magic of a diamond. A versatile and strong character design which fi ts elegantly in both, contemporary or classic spaces.
