Light + Building 2020 preview: Girotondo outdoor/indoor floor lamp designed by Bizzarri Design Associati for Karman

Ring a-ring o’ roses, a pocketful of posies, but we all won’t fall down! (Girotondo is the Italian name of the young children's rhyme). The game of playing children turning around and around makes their heads spin and inebriate.

Girotondo floor lamp, designed by Bizzarri Design Associati for Karman, pays tribute to the pure and innocent joy belonging to youth: projected to be placed in outdoor spaces, especially to lighten pool sides or garden driveways, can be placed also inside to make your head turn.

The shape reminds a spinning top, leaning on one side after its restless turning around. It's made of white lacquered transparent resin.
