LG Hausys presents the novelties of HI-MACS collection during the Imm Cologne fair in 2018

«Discover Interior Ideas» this is the theme used at the international exhibition Imm Cologne, to ring in 2018. The number one interiors show, on from 15 to 21 January 2018, invites visitors to discover the trends of the coming months.

LG Hausys will be at the forefront of the exhibition

The recently launched HI-MACS Structura® collection is a ground-breaking new material, taking centre stage at Imm. The collection has already met with considerable interest from architects and planners alike and is available in ten standard surface designs. The four new Velvet Colours from the Solids collection will also be showcased at Imm Cologne. The new colour shades were inspired by the beauty of nature, including rich organic pigments and pleasant-to-touch materials like leather and raw clay. And pop onto the stand for for a sneek preview of the NEW HI-MACS® Concrete Collection.

Comfort and technology with HI-MACS®

«Recharged» is another HI-MACS® highlight at the exhibition booth: a remarkable seat upon which up to three people can sit and charge their smart phones - no cables or plugs required. The colourful cushion is ideal for relaxing, while the round HI-MACS® platform at the centre of this designer furniture offers the opportunity to recharge the batteries of their mobile devices, using three areas marked by circles.

In cooperation with the furniture manufacturer Royal Ahrend, the Dutch designer Basten Leijh has created designer furniture that weds comfort and state-of-the-art technology. Especially suited for lounges and waiting rooms, the wireless battery charging takes place via the latest induction technology. The Dutch company ZENS has made significant developments in this field, and through the company's pioneering work, this technology can now be used for many types of technological devices, in any kind of environment. While previous wireless charging stations were clearly recognisable, the technology from ZENS in “Recharged” remains invisible and “melds” with the seat's solid surface material.

HI-MACS® is composed of natural minerals, acrylic and pigments that come together to provide a smooth, non-porous and visually seamless surface to help meet the highest standards for quality, aesthetics, fabrication, functionality and hygiene. It is the sum of these features that delivers a modern material that is far superior to other conventional materials and promises to stand the test of time. The solid surface material HI-MACS® can be moulded into any shape and is extremely durable as well as easy to clean and affordable. .
