Fiora presents its Bathroom trends at Cersaie 2019: combination of materials and block colour

Cersaie has been a showroom for discovering the latest trends for bathrooms, such as the standout combination of natural and advanced materials with flat colours such as Nude or Ultramar (deep blue).

In this context, Fiora is presenting a range of 5 natural stones and solid surface, which combines with polyurethane, the signature brand material

Trend 1: Mix & Match

Every year Cersaie acts as a showroom to discover the latest trends for bathrooms, a sector that is becoming more sophisticated with major changes every year. One of the outstanding developments for this year is the option to personalise each item of furniture using the combination of materials chosen by the customer. “It is a more contemporary view of these traditional materials that add new values to design when combined with polyurethane”, says Stefano Basile, CEO of Fiora.

It is in this sense that Fiora has adopted a range of 5 natural stones, marbles from different sources that come in a wide range of colours, ideal for combining with polyurethane finishes. ‘Solid surface’ countertops, consoles and wash basins are also included, adding the special texture that this advanced material offers.

Trend 2: Color revolution

There has been a period in which neutral tones were clearly favoured, but color is now returning and we are seeing this very clearly in our bathrooms”, said Stefano. In this sense, Fiora has added new colours to its range, such as Nude, Tuile, Kermes or Ultramar, which are all more sophisticated versions of colours that have always had a place in the bathroom, like pinks or blues, oranges or garnets.

These tones are combined with materials like marble with its natural veining, creating new trends in materiality and colour in the room. To expand this potential, Fiora “enables any of our polyurethane designs to be customized with the more than 200 colours in the RAL catalogue”.
