Second edition of “Cersaie designs your home” is launched. 22 magazines and leading exhibitors are taking part

During the 31st Cersaie, International Exhibition of Ceramic Tiles and Bathroom Furnishings (Monday 23 - Friday 27 September, Bologna Exhibition Centre), designers from leading Italian interior design magazines will offer a free design consulting service to members of the public intending to purchase or renovate their homes. The initiative will take place on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 September in the Web, TV and Press Village located in the Services Centre. It will be a unique opportunity for homeowners to get advice on remodelling their homes and comes as part of Cersaie’s efforts to reach out to end consumers, who are becoming increasingly autonomous in their purchasing decisions. Following its successful debut in 2012, the initiative is being repeated this year with the participation of 22 magazines, 8 more than at the first edition. The magazines taking part in “Cersaie designs your home” 2013 are: ATCasa (RCS), QN - Soluzioni di Casa (Poligrafici Editoriale), La Repubblica RCasa&Design, Casa&Design (Gruppo Espresso), La Stampa.it Design (La Stampa), Il Messaggero Casa (Il Messaggero), GCasa and Casa Facile (Mondadori), Cose di Casa (Universo), Come ristrutturare la Casa (Il Sole 24 Ore), Il Bagno Oggi e Domani (Reed), Lavorincasa.it (Madex Editore), Case & Stili, www.leonardo.tv and Canale Leonardo TV (LT Editore), Case di montagna, la Piscina and Case e Ville prefabbricate (Di Baio Editore), Wellness Design (Wellness Design Editore), Home (Hearst), IQD (Verbus Editrice), and Cer Magazine Italia (Edi.Cer.). The other major new feature of the second edition of “Cersaie designs your home” is voluntary participation by Cersaie exhibitors. A number of leading ceramic and bathroom furnishing companies have also confirmed that they will be taking part in the initiative by offering expert consulting to members of the public on their stands, again on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 September. An intense communication campaign via television, radio, the daily and periodical press and websites will publicise the magazines and companies taking part. There will also be a dedicated communication system set up to help end consumers locate the magazines and participating exhibitors within the exhibition centre. At each of the five entrances to the exhibition centre, posters and a specific guide map entitled “Cersaie designs your home 2013” will indicate the locations of the magazines inside the services centre and the companies in the exhibition halls. Following the consultation service, the designers will present consumers with a “Cersaie designs your home 2013” guide map.
