Feria Hábitat Valencia creates style-specific exhibition concepts to reflect manufacturers’ needs

Feria Hábitat Valencia is starting the year fully immersed in the promotion and marketing of the upcoming show.  A sense of excitement is rippling through the interiors industry in anticipation of the fair’s launch of a new exhibition concept that reflects what the industry is asking for. The key to the new initiative lies in the further compartmentalisation of the content by style by creating ad hoc designs for each.  Thus contemporary/designer, modern/upholstery/bedrooms, classic/haute decor and home textiles will each have their own design concept that will include everything from a specific style of staging to parallel events, services and different criteria for selecting exhibitors and recruiting visitors.  Both lighting and kitchen exhibitors will be scattered throughout the showcase, located by style. As Feria Hábitat Valencia president José Blasco explains, “highly experienced business leaders and professionals are working together to shape every one of these concepts, which are something that the exhibitors themselves were asking for and that we hope will deliver what all the manufacturers need.”  “For sure,” the president adds, “what we are aiming to do is add value to the fair and provide the best exhibition opportunity at very affordable prices.” Also, so as to distribute the product offering in the best way possible that is also the most user-friendly for visitors, Feria Hábitat Valencia will be locating the entire content of the show in Feria Valencia’s new buildings.  Level 2 will feature the full selection of classic furniture, haute decor and home textiles across pavilions 1 and 2, whilst pavilions 3 and 4 will house the contemporary and designer interiors offering plus the nude Show and the “Flash Hábitat Valencia” exhibit, which gathers together Europe’s leading design practices and was a huge success when it launched at Feria Hábitat Valencia 2011.  Level 3 will be showcasing the full range of modern furniture, upholstery and bedrooms, spread over four pavilions. Taking place from 18th to 22nd September Feria Hábitat Valencia will be a unique, comprehensive and original showcase for decorating and interior design covering furniture, decoration, lighting, home textiles, kitchens and bedrooms.  José Blasco, who is also chairman of the Spanish furniture trade federation, Federmueble, is convinced that the 2012 fair “will captivate both manufacturers and visiting professionals, bringing together as it does the biggest selection of products made in Spain and attracting the attention of quality Spanish and international buyers.” Feria Habitat Valencia website Feria Habitat Valencia sheet at Infurma
