Feria Hábitat Valencia has got off to a promising start of marketing for their exhibition space for their next edition, which will take place between 9 - 13 February at Feria Valencia, again together with Cevisama. Little more than one month after receiving the first participation requests, the event has successfully reserved approximately 40% of the exhibition space from their last edition.

Many of these requests are from companies which participated in the last edition in February, the first edition under the initiative “See You In Valencia”. In this sense a group of classic and high decoration companies such as Soher, Canella, Colleción Alexandra, Tecni Nova, Hurtado and Ascensión Latorre will return to bet on Feria Valencia Habitat as a business and showcase platform. Also contemporary brands like Contradictions, Point, Ecus, and Pau will return.

Additionally, illumination will have a prominent role at the next edition of Hábitat. In fact, companies such as Almerich, Lladró, Riperlamp, ACB Iluminación and Martinez y Orts have been confirmed.

New additions

One of the objectives for the next edition of Habitat will be the qualitative and quantitative growth of the offer of exhibitors which will be present next time in February.

In this sense, the event has closed the deal to add the Italian illumination company Flos, a leader in high-end design and a clear example of international companies returning to showcase at Feria Valencia.

The expectations are therefore very positive. “After the commitment which was produced in the last edition with a fair of quality-trade, internationalisation, and segment contract orientated brands, in 2015 Habitat intends to not only clearly consolidate this level but also advance in its offer of exhibitors”, says the director of the event, Máximo Solaz.

To do this, we aim to “strengthen our position in specific segments like the most current or contemporary habitat in which we expect to incorporate a number of modern upholstery furniture and with which we respond to a high percentage of the demand for national distribution.”

The director of the event highlighted additionally the rapid response of the companies and brands of the sector before they’d started marketing. “It is necessary to bear in mind that space reservations are usually deferred until the last months; normally until after summer. However, in the case of Habitat, practically after the end of February we had exhibitors who not only want to return next year, but also increase the square metres of their stand. This trend has now been confirmed with the official start of marketing,” explains Solaz.
