Natuzzi Italia presents at Casa Decor new edition with its harmonious and bohemian building designed by Raúl Martins

Natuzzi, recognized brand in the world of furniture for its sofas, chairs, tables, beds etc. is today, and for the fourth consecutive year, in the hands of the interior designer Raúl Martins, an expert in translating the essence of the brand into a space consisting of two divided rooms: bedroom and living/dining room, joined together on a floor made of metal tiles designed by experts for the occasion. Martins has carried out its work fulfilling the fundamental values of the brand: authentic quality, commitment in the face of research, social responsibility and environmental sustainability.

Raúl Martins wanted to respect the harmonious character of the building, developing a planning work to achieve a balanced project with bohemian airs. The soft and friendly color of the palette chosen for this occasion and the comfort of the Natuzzi 2018 collection, has been combined with a selection of author pieces that coexist in harmony with the new collection of fabrics by Gastón and Daniela.

All framed on a tile floor, designed for the occasion by the studio of Raúl Martins and inspired by the geometric patterns of the art deco style, in a range of grays along with the contrast of copper.

“We were inspired by the eclectic architecture of the early twentieth century of the building itself, combining in harmony its elements with the pieces of the new 2018 collection by Natuzzi. Quality pieces, with geometric motifs and straight lines with which we have managed to create a sophisticated apartment based on functionality, design and comfort ” says Raúl Martins.

In relation to the pieces chosen for this edition of Casa Decor 2018, Raúl Martins opted for the Melpot sofa, designed by Mauro Lipparini, which is presented for the first time in Spain after debuting at the Salone del Mobile in 2017. Its modular design and the different configurations allow a high level of personalization and the perfect optimization of the space. The impact of the architectural form and the subtle geometry create the perfect balance between contemporary design and modern tradition.

The bedroom is the real protagonist, and Natuzzi presents the Dolcevita bed -conceived by the architects Tapinassi & Manzoni- as a contemporary interpretation of the classic style and which highlights the handcrafted elaboration of the capitoné of the surrounding headboard, giving the bedroom a great personality. A dream come true, which translates into the level of personalization acquired by this design bed.

Finally, the Amber bedroom furniture designed by Jamie Durie completes the selection of Raúl Martins for this space. Its originality lies in the surface finishes in 3D version, a recreation of the undulations of the natural landscape, which give it a unique design. The result is an apartment in which elements of different styles are integrated perfectly with the most avant-garde pieces by Natuzzi.
