Kasbah du Toubkal mountain retreat that offers sustainable tourism and authentic Berber hospitality on Northern Africa's highest peak, was awarded an environmental certificate at the COP22, UN Climate Change Conference being held in Marrakech for their efforts in finding solutions for sustainable tourism in Morocco.

Located 90 minutes outside of Marrakech in the Imlil village in Morocco's Atlas Mountains, the award winning Kasbah Du Toubkal embodies sustainable tourism through its accommodation and variety of services. Also called the Berber Hospitality Centre after the name of the local indigenous community, Kasbah du Toubkal embraces management and staff, delivering the unspoiled charm of an ancient Moroccan culture that views the property as an extension of the home.

Forgoing modern hotel practices, Kasbah Du Toubkal provides an experiential lens into the over 4,000 year old culture.
