Over 250 showrooms, studios, galleries, workshops and exhibition venues open their doors from 21 to 23 May as Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) begins its fourth successful edition. A one-stop destination to learn the latest industry trends, innovations and product launches, the festival once again promises a packed schedule of exhibitions, debates, seminars and networking events, bringing together the leading figures from the world of design and architecture.

The festival celebrates Clerkenwell's unique evolution from an historic medieval borough, to a hive of Victorian industry, to today's cutting-edge community for architecture, design and media.

Alongside the showrooms, CDW opens unique private buildings for pop-up exhibitions: the Victorian Farmiloe Building showcases products from international design brands, while the former subterranean prison at the House of Detention presents a hub of emerging talent, and the medieval Priory of the Order of St John provides a sourcebook of the latest decorating trends.
