The Trame radiator, designed by Stefano Giovannoni and produced by Tubes Radiatori, has achieved a great success since it has been showcased for the first time last April at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. Its success reached the US, where Trame won the Best of the Year 2012 Award for the category “Bath: Accessories and Hardware”, the prize organized every year by the prestigious American magazine Interior Design.

This is what we do best: design! And that's what we’re here to celebrate tonight”, stated Cindy Allen. The editor in chief of Interior Design opened the gala venue held on the 29th November at the new location in 200 West Street NY, an art auditorium designed by SHoP Architects. As every year, the event was attended by many personalities from the design community to celebrate the best products of 2012.

Sophisticated simplicity: these the keywords that define the Trame project. The industrial designer Stefano Giovannoni has turned a traditional steel radiant surface into a “fabric of heat”, where the classic tubular elements become coloured threads with different diameters (14 mm, 20 mm and 28 mm) according to the personal taste and the desired optic effect.

Trame is available both with vertical and horizontal tubular elements up to 279 possible combinations, giving the greatest design freedom and ease when positioning it in different rooms.
