With an extraordinary mix of materials and special attention to detail, SieMatic SF10 has achieved Special Mention in the Home Interior category of the German Design Award 2013. The interna-tionally renowned German Design Council recognized the intelligent interior furnishing system for drawers and pullouts for its outstanding design and high quality functionality.

Ulrich W. Siekmann, CEO and managing partner of SieMatic Möbelwerke, states, “On the heels of numerous design awards for entire kitchen programs and innovations, SieMatic has for the first time been awarded a prize in this very prestigious competition.” Besides the premium kitchen manufacturer, well-known brands such as Audi and Mercedes-Benz are amongst the companies that have been awarded Special Mention 2013.

Balance of Aesthetics and Functionality

The German Design Council award was based on a balance of aesthetics and functionality, from the precision workmanship, to the use of a modern mix of materials. The combination of light, glazed oak, white porcelain, and high quality aluminum, lends to its elegant, sophisticated appearance, which is complemented by delicate shades of grey. The modular system can be configured individually, and organized and supplemented to one's preference. GripDeck inserts with anti-slip strips ensure safe and secure positioning of the pullouts.

Together with the award-winning MultiMatic system, SieMatic SF10 offers nearly unlimited options for arranging and adapting storage space in a particularly efficient and functional way, in accordance with individual requirements.
