After a 2012 with an increasing growth in all German speaking markets, from Germany to Switzerland and Austria, Porro returns to exhibit at IMM Cologne. In addition, the Interior Innovation Awards 2013, organised by the German Design Council on the occasion of the Imm Colgone have awarded the Gentle chair, designed by Front, and the Tiller sideboard, designed by Piero Lissoni.

Realism and abstraction, materiality and immateriality coexist in the Porro stand at Cologne, which features an open-plan ‘villa’ with flowing spaces designed by Piero Lissoni. The attention to detail and elegant balance between colours and forms that are evident in each element reveals the decisive yet understated design philosophy of the company and its lead designer - geometric lines that leave ample room for customisation.

Porro will show six different environments: two dining rooms, a bedroom, a living area, a home office area and a dressing room. The unifying theme of the stand's design is the play of solids and voids, and the use of delicate, natural colours.

The presence of Porro at IMM Cologne in Germany has been reinforced by the recognition received after being awarded the Interior Innovation Award 2013 for its Gentle chair (top image) and Tiller sideboard (image below). These products will be presented in the special exhibition for the Interior Innovation Award during the imm cologne 2013 and LivingKitchen. There the second jury meeting will take place and out of all winners 15 products will be awarded with the label Interior Innovation Award - Best of Best 2013.
