Milan 2014 preview: Trace basin collection designed by Veneziano+Team for Valdama

Gianni Veneziano and Luciana Di Virgilio, of V+T studio, signed the collection of washbasin Trace which has been designed for Valdama company and which will be displayed in the next Salone Internazionale del Bagno to be held in Milan, from 8 to 13 April.

A ‘Trace’ is the manifestation of a feeling, a hint of something, a sketch for a drawing, a mark left on the ground, a print, a line that runs on a surface. The flow of time and water has created a sculptural subtraction in the matter.

The slow passage of the elements has gently smoothed the shapes, moulding them at its discretion. A delicate action that finds its strength in continuity and time. A trace that witnesses to a passage and coming, something that is no longer present but has left a mark forever.

The collection is available in three sizes in rectangular, square and round with a matte finish and polished in the colors black and white.
