CasaDesús design brand has presented its novelties at the Salone Del Mobile.Millano 2018 and among them, today we want to share the new Mandalay collection designed by G. Vegni & G. Gualtierotti.

Mandalay is a seat range based on one single seat cushion with padded upholstery in staggered rows. This aesthetic detail gives it a rich visual texture and is an excellent technical solution to avoid the appearance of wrinkles on the seat cushion.

The proportions of its armrests and backrests, as well as the thickness of the seat, make it a unique center piece wherever you place it.

The collection incorporates numerous measurements, chaiselongue and poufs in order to create all kinds of combinations. There is also a version “extralarge”, it provides 15 cm more seat depth and can be combined with the regular version.

Structure in wood and polyester varnished tubular steel. Wood covered with polyurethane foam with different densities and polyester fiber.

Seat cushion in high resilience polyurethane foam with different densities covered with spongy silicone polyester fiber. Back cushions have a protective case and internal divisions. Filled with sterilized white duck feathers and down.

Suspension: elastic grids. Feet in chromed steel bright finish, mate nickel or bright graphite, removable by means of screws. Cover completely removable except for upholstery in leather or similar. Frame (arms and back) can be removed by means of screws.
