Italian designer Paola Navone creates the Oblò outdoor collection for Triconfort

For this collection, Italian designer Paola Navone uses one of the most widespread furniture manufacturing processes of the 19th century: casting. The outdoor collection Oblò by Triconfort can be seen at Maison & Objet fair in Paris on next January 18. Conserving the traditional production process, but using the latest technology, aluminium has been used in place of iron as the raw material. Its iconographic language attempts to reproduce some of the more characteristic features of the great classics of the industrial age. A love of detail, a passion for creativity and the ideal that furniture should last a lifetime; these are the principles on which TRICONFORT was established. At TRICONFORT we understand that for tradition to remain viable it has to move with the times. Faithful to this principle, we have adapted the form of all of our products to the new productive circumstances, whilst ensuring their identity and tradition. TRICONFORT. Maison & Objet. Paris.
