HOOP is a distinctive, minimalist yet sensual and lightweight, almost aerodynamic, design, an ergonomically enveloping curve designed by Karim Rashid for B-Line that can be seen at the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2016.

As the colours of the rigid polyurethane seat and slender steel tubing or solid turned beechwood legs change, HOOP conveys either restrained elegance or vibrant joy, homely warmth or executive rigour; it is either a patch of pastel colour or a bold stroke of a marker pen.

HOOP becomes the characteristic feature of the area it lives in, it defines the personality of a space, the image of home environments or the traits of the brand in the many solutions it is able to create for the multifarious contract industry.

This is what Karim Rashid says about it: “My mantra of sensual minimalism is exemplified with the HOOP Chair. HOOP is pure simplicity, designed as a soft plane of warm plastic laying over a metal or wood frame. The ergonomic shape creates integrated handle. HOOP leaves you enveloped in calming simplicity, comfort and ease.

It will definitely be the star of the show on STAND D34 HALL 16 at the “Saloni di Milano”, along with other new arrivals in B-LINE's CASUAL LIVING series.
