DOLMEN, designed by edeestudio and produced by B&V, is a modular system of seats, cushions, back seats and arms which allow us to toy with its place in the room. This allows the user to arrange it in different positions according to the kind of space it is placed in. DOLMEN is a sofa with straight lines and large volumes, perfect for the household as well as contract spaces which aim to get a contemporary surrounding.

This modular piece, with a great adaptabilty thanks to its different possible combinations, is thought to guarantee the user’s máximum confort. It is presented as square-shaped or circle-shaped seats, central modules and specific corner modules. It rests on a plastic legs base and it has a nontoxic, anti-allergic and anti-dust mite fiber inner lining.

Esther Albert and Eduardo Alcón are edeestudio, a design studio based in Valencia and established in late 2008. Their collaboration with B&V goes back far, since they have been designing most of the firm’s catalogue for years, as well as their art direction. Their job is to contribute with innovative and original ideas, and also functional and aesthetic ones which comprehend all of the processes of manufacturing a project. Having a multidisciplinary training, they are able to work together in different fields: industrial, graphic, multimedia and interior design.

B&V is a Spanish company with more than 20 years of experience. Located in Moixent, Valencia, they make since 1992 their own designs in an upholstery atelier that combines tradition handicraft, dedication and experience and the creativity with state-of-the-art technology.
