Desalto has doubled in the Interior Innovation Award 2012, which grant the German Design Council and the Imm Cologne. The 25 table, designed by BF&P, and Kobe chair designed by Piergiorgio Cazzaniga have both been honored with this award, and will be displayed in a special space at the Imm Cologne 2012 and Livinginteriors.

The new absolutely essential table presented by Desalto, is called 25 just like the thickness of its 25 mm top and legs. In all probability, this is the longest table ever made with an industrial process, capable of reaching 3.5 meters length, with thickness 25mm. The top is made of a composite “solid surface” material in white.
25 represents a great structural challenge that Desalto has mastered thanks to the use of composite materials such as aluminium and carbon which make it possible to obtain sizes and dimensions never reached before.
The table fits in well within Desalto's product range made of stylish items featuring a sleek design and with state-of-the-art materials.

Kobe is the new Desalto chair made of BAYDUR®, a rigid polyurethane material that guarantees excellent performance as regards flexibility and resistance as well as being 100% recyclable and fireproof.
The name Kobe, a well known city in Japan, highlights its affinity with the sophisticated simplicity of Japanese aesthetics, consisting of calibrated rigour and formal lightness.
The result is a functional and comfortable chair, thanks to the excellent flexibility of the back, which adapts to fit every type of posture.
Kobe is stackable only in the four tubular leg version or in the steel rod base version. Perfect for outdoor use and, being fireproof, particularly suited for contract supplies in public areas.
