Mooose is an environment responsible company that uses only native European wood species such as walnut, ash and oak. The startup, created by Curro Galván, is part of the fourth edition of the Lanzadera Garage Program, along with 17 other projects from very diverse sectors. Since January, Mooose is making its way into the market in Italy and England with the first customers who are testing the product.

Mooose has created a new line of business for all those cyclists who do not know where to place their bike at home, as well as their helmet or padlock. ‘Cova‘ is an exhibitor system for bicycles that has storage space for its accessories and that provides a solution to these classic problems from a functional perspective, aesthetic and careful design. The name of ‘Cova’ (‘cave’ in Valencian) refers to the concept on which its design is based, inspired by the forms that the erosion of the sea originates in the rocks of the coast, specifically, the Cova Tallada of Jávea (Alicante).

With this line, Mooose wants to reinforce its vision in improving the relationship of people with their bicyclesso that an irrational love arises for them” and thus promote their use in the city with the intention that their owners live all the days “the feeling of wearing ‘new shoes‘”, values Curro Galván, CEO of the startup, which is currently being driven by the Lanzadera accelerator.

The system of ‘Cova’, available in natural ash veneer and dyed black, has enough space for helmet, padlock, gloves or glasses, and can also be used as a decorative shelf in which to leave the bike without taking up space on the floor . “It's a product born of our own experience, since many of us have a healthy pride for our bike and we like to talk with our friends about, for example, the new wheels we have bought, but we end up leaving it locked in a storage room or in a shady garage or with all the accessories scattered around the house; with this product everything is ‘in its place’“, explains Galván.

The CEO of Mooose stands out from the urban bicycles that are like “sculptures that deserve to be exposed like the works of functional art that they are” and to which he wants to return “the site that they deserve”. Therefore, the line of ‘Cova’ is made with the same care as their handlebars: handcrafted, but supported by the latest digital manufacturing techniques, which allows them to maintain a competitive price, and with responsible materials such as woods that do not They are in danger of extinction and adhesive to water without toxic.
