On invitation of its new Hungarian member Derula Kft., the European Poplar Association Pro-Populus held a two-day event (on 13 & 14 May 2013) in Szolnok, Hungary, consisting of its 5th General Assembly, 3rd European Poplar Congress and visits of the Derula plywood producer factory and poplar plantations.

The 20th LIGNA Hannover came to a close on Friday, May 10, achieving impressive results across the board. Over 40% of the show’s visitors came from abroad, topping the figure from the last LIGNA in 2011. In 2007 the University launched a master plan to modernise and increase the capacity of the Woudestein campus. American walnut creates a conducive and inspiring mood for reading and learning at Zayed University’s new Campus Library
Located in the heart of the Zayed University campus in Abu Dhabi, the new Campus Library was designed by Hadi Teherani, an internationally renowned architect from Germany. AHK Interiors was awarded the joinery works for the new Abu Dhabi campus and they specified American walnut throughout the whole library, chosen for its dark earthy colour and strong aesthetic presence.
