The art of Mariner joins the beauty of Swarovski Elements to create the lamp Aurea
Mariner has presented to the market the lamp “Aurea”, its latest lighting piece with a design based on crystals from the prestigious brand SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS. The lamp, which will be available as of June 2013, is one of the highlights among the novelties that have been presented at the latest edition of Euroluce 2013 in Milan.

Cantharellus, the new pop lamp designed by Marco Bisenzi for B.lux
Cantharellus by B.lux is an original lamp shaped around soft organic forms, designed for use in the home, office and commercial spaces. It is a reinterpretation of the classic bell-shaped lamps of yesteryear, but with a renovated design that evokes a certain colouristic pop art feel.

Arturo Alvarez shows a preview of its new artistic luminaries that will display in Milan and Las Vegas
The designer Arturo Álvarez has developed for his brand a collection of lamps in his star proprietary material, metal mesh with pigmented silicone. These new designs can be seen at Euroluce (Hall 11 Stand C35), in Milan, April 9 – 14, and at Las Vegas HD (Stand 2117), in Las Vegas, May 15 – 17.

Statthocker: Disused street lanterns turned into new furniture with HI-MACS® seat
Classic 1960s street lanterns, shaped like mushrooms, are now being put to a new use: They have been turned into stools known as “Statthocker”. When the hard plastic lantern shades were removed to make way for energy saving diode lamps, the Bielefeld product and interior designers Oliver Bahr and Bastian Demmer came up with the idea of repurposing them into stackable stools, because of their perfect seat height.
