ARCOmadrid 2013 focuses on the international market and online business opportunities
International participation in the fair ARCOmadrid rises to 66%, the highest for several years, with 133 foreign galleries. A total of 201 galleries from 27 countries and more than 2,000 artists will be represented in Madrid, from 13 to 17 February.

The Arts and Crafts Center in the Valencian Community opens in September a new space with Essence, an exhibition featuring the collaboration between Sanserif Creatius and a group of artisans -pottery, leather, glass and others- to reinterpret objects and pieces associated with the culture of wine and table.

In the upcoming weeks you will be able to see HI-MACS® exhibited in two world renown cities — first in Paris and then shortly thereafter London. HI-MACS® will be exhibited at Maison & Objet Paris which will be held in Villepinte from the 7th to the 11th of September, 2012. A week later, between September 19th and 22nd, HI-MACS® will be pleasing crowds at 100% Design — part of London’s Design Festival.

The piece of work ‘Snail’ by José Lopez Gimenez has won the First Actiu Photography Competition. Juan Francisco Poveda, with ‘Reverstairwork’ has won second Prize and Damian Berbegal has won third prize with his piece of work ‘Looking to the Future’. The judges made up of professionals from the world of photography, design and architecture, made a preliminary selection of 30 entries out of more than 250 entries submitted, which will form part of the exhibition.

After a stint in 2010 at Shanghai Expo, the Desigñ – Spanish Accent in design exhibition, organized by the National Innovation Enterprise (ENISA), of Industry, Energy and Tourism Ministry, and the Cervantes Institute and curated by Ramon Ubeda will be exhibited from 21 February until 28 April at the Cervantes Institute in Dublin.
